Everybody asks me what that thing is hanging down from the ceiling. Well, it just happens to be something that my nephew made for me about a year before. It was made of yarn and I used it as a ceiling fan pull. It later fell apart, but it still made a great fan pull! I finally took it down. This picture was taken in February, 1999 |

Hi, I’m Gil Davis and I’m the one responsible for making the site look like the mess it is sometimes. I’ve heard it was pretty good, but it’s always under some
kind of design modification. I also do some of the editing of description text and improvement of the photos to make them more viewable. Although I don’t live in Louisiana, it’s not totally strange to me. I’ve
traveled through Northern Louisiana several times and visited Southern Louisiana on a number of other occasions. I currently reside in Albuquerque, New Mexico and plan to do a site on New Mexico... someday. Jay and I have
known each other since 1983. We met in Hemet, California while helping to set up a haunted house for the Hemet Jaycees, a not-for-profit organization designed for the betterment of kids (mostly). We’ve seen a lot of
changes in each other’s lives, marriages, divorces, promotions, unemployment, and the like. Well, just about everything good friends that have known each other for a lot of years, go through. We even co-hosted a
radio show for about a year in San Diego, CA. A mostly wild and crazy show... appropriately named, “Wild Weekend.” I guess that may tell you just the kind of people we really are. I’m in my mid 40’s, born in
early July, and am on the single side once again. Always on the lookout for that certain female someone (yes, Jay is, too), and have no kids, don’t smoke, and currently you can see a more complete bio on me at |
